Cookbook club is a community potluck for friends who enjoy the creativity of cooking, meeting new people and laughing a lot. From anti-holiday cookouts to "Meatcute" and the infamous Mac & Cheese party, cookbook club invites folx to share their culture, cooking skills and stories with new and familiar faces.

Kaleidoscope was a creative workshop series centered around curiosity, experimentation, and connection specifically for queer and trans bipoc creatives. Hosted at the New Haven Pride Center and led by author Padya Paramita and painter Chris Jones, the series invited participants to explore new creative practices, try new mediums, and make art alongside community.

Painting in the Park was Qommunity’s original art hang - a free outdoor gathering where creativity, music, and community came together. Attendees could bring their own supplies or grab materials from the paint buffet while local artists and DJs provided the soundtrack. Featuring some of our favorite local creatives over the years, Painting in the Park became a space to make something new, meet someone new, and spend a sunny afternoon together.
