I hope the holiday season treated you well—and if not, I’m right there with you, relieved it’s behind us. No matter how your season went, Qommunity is still here, and I’m thrilled to share what’s in store for the year ahead!
First, I’m excited to announce Kaleidoscope, a creative and healing project highlighting the incredible talents of queer and trans disabled or neurodivergent artists of color. This initiative will feature a magazine showcasing at least 20 works across various mediums—poetry, essays, visual arts, and more. Beyond the magazine, Kaleidoscope includes creative workshops designed as safer spaces for connection, mentoring, and the sharing of sustainable artistic practices.
We’re also bringing back our signature event, Painting in the Park! Dates will be announced as we get closer to summer, so stay tuned.
In the meantime, we’re kicking off the year with something new: Cookbook Club! This social gathering is all about food, community, and sharing culinary inspiration. Mark your calendars—our first meeting is happening in early February, and we can’t wait to see you there.
Stay tuned for updates, and here’s to a fantastic year with Qommunity!
